TERMS OF SERVICES

Welcome to the Lore Masters Trivia Game mobile application (the “App”), developed and owned by Lore Masters, a company based in the province of Quebec, Canada (“Lore Masters,” “we,” or “us”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the App. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any provision of these Terms, please refrain from using the App.

  1. App Usage

1.1 Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under the age of 18, you confirm that you have obtained permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the App.

1.2 License: Lore Masters grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on your mobile device solely for personal, non-commercial purposes. Any unauthorized use of the App is strictly prohibited.

1.3 Account Registration: You may be required to create an account to access certain features or functionalities of the App. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to keep your account credentials secure. You are solely responsible for any activity that occurs under your account.

  1. Intellectual Property

2.1 Ownership: The App, including all content, features, and functionality, is the exclusive property of Lore Masters and is protected by intellectual property laws. You acknowledge that Lore Masters retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the App, including any updates, modifications, or enhancements.

2.2 Limited Use: You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable right to use the App and its content solely for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or exploit the App or its content without prior written permission from Lore Masters.

  1. In-App Purchases

3.1 In-App Purchases: The App may offer in-app purchases, including virtual items, additional features, or premium content (“In-App Purchases”). You acknowledge and agree that all In-App Purchases are final and non-refundable. Lore Masters reserves the right to change, remove, or add In-App Purchases at any time.

3.2 Payment: If you make an In-App Purchase, you authorize Lore Masters or its third-party payment processor to charge the applicable fees to your designated payment method. You are solely responsible for any charges incurred through your In-App Purchases.

  1. Privacy

4.1 Data Collection: Lore Masters may collect and process personal information in connection with your use of the App, the only use case being processing your IP address to resolve your country name. The IP address is deleted right after said processing. Our collection and use of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

4.2 Analytics and Advertising: The App may use analytics and advertising services provided by third parties. These services may collect information about your use of the App and may use such information to deliver targeted advertisements. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of data as described in our Privacy Policy.

  1. Termination

5.1 Termination by You: You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it from your mobile device.

5.2 Termination by Lore Masters: Lore Masters reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App, in whole or in part, at any time and without prior notice for any reason, including, but not limited to, your violation of these Terms.

  1. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the province of Quebec, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the province of Quebec.

  1. Miscellaneous

7.1 Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Lore Masters regarding the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether oral or written.

7.2 Severability: If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

7.3 Waiver: The failure of Lore Masters to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

Lore Masters Video Games is committed to providing an engaging and respectful gaming experience. We recognize and respect the intellectual property rights of all content creators and partners. Our trivia game sources images and data from the Internet Game Database (IGDB). We extend our gratitude to IGDB for their invaluable contributions to the gaming community.

All images, trademarks, and content utilized in our game are the property of their respective owners. We do not claim ownership over any third-party content featured in our game. Each game title, character, and related media referenced within Lore Masters Video Games are the trademarks of their respective publishers and developers.

Our use of this content is intended solely for the purpose of entertainment and educational engagement within the scope of our trivia game. We ensure that all data and images are utilized in compliance with IGDB’s terms of use.

1.1 Information You Provide: When you create an account or use certain features of the App, we do not collect personal information aside processing your IP address to resolve your country name. After that processing the IP address is deleted.

1.2 Usage Information: We may collect information about your use of the App, including the trivia questions you answer, your scores, and other interactions with the App.

1.3 Device Information: We may collect information about the device you use to access the App, including the device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.

1.4 Log Data: Our servers automatically record certain log information when you use the App. This may include your IP address, app usage data, and crash reports.

2.1 Provide and Improve the App: We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve the functionality of the App, including personalizing your experience, analyzing user preferences, and troubleshooting technical issues.

3.3 We use Unity as a third-party which collects data. Please refer to Unity’s privacy policy for details

We will retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us, and we will promptly delete the information.

Users can delete their account at any time through the account settings page. Once deleted, all personal information associated with the account will be permanently removed from our systems

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated “Effective Date” at the beginning of this Policy. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Your continued use of the App after the posting of changes constitutes your agreement to the revised Privacy Policy.
