• Dev Update 6 – Producer Update

    Hey All,
Happy Monday! The coffee is as fresh as the snow falling here in Montreal and the updates are plentiful! We’ve been live for just over a month now and have been working on prioritizing the feedback, planning the changes and testing the build.
The support from the community continues to be great and we have been working with other Paizo partners to bring the Lore Master experience to as many fans as possible, we won’t reveal too much yet but stay tuned as we look towards the new year.
Now, on to the game… Our next Update is schedule to go live by middle of December and is going to bring a few of the player requested features and content. Let’s take a look at what that means:
    • New Question Pack, Lore Based (Details Soon)
    • Pathfinder core question updates to feature the new Remaster rules
    • Report a Question feature
    • More control over filters, class specific subsets of questions
    • Legacy tagging on content that has not yet been Remastered
    • Daily Challenges
We’re a small team but are absolutely committed to bringing a great experience to all Pathfinder fans. We continue looking at ways to improve the experience and plan to bring more content updates, new features like cross device saves and question mastery and maybe even a new mode!
Stay tuned for more news on our latest updates.

  • Dev Update 5 – Producer Update

    Hey there everyone,

Happy Friday, I have got some coffee prepared and ready to kick off another letter from the producer as we complete our first full week of launch and prepare for our next updates.

First of all, thanks again to the wonderful Pathfinder community for reporting issues, sending feedback and leaving reviews on both stores. If you haven’t left a review yet, please do so! We’re grateful that everyone is so passionate and willing to provide us with valuable feedback and help pinpoint bugs and inconsistencies to make the experience better for everyone.

    Let’s address a few things we’ve been seeing and doing this last week;

    • Filters – We hear you, you’d like the experience of using the filters to be more enjoyable and flexible.
      • We’ll start with some quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes – especially for players with Roe and World Guide content – and then work on new designs.
    • Question clarity.
      • We’ve been busy updating questions throughout the last week to address minor spelling mistakes, ambiguity, and inaccuracies. We will continue to do so whenever it’s needed since it’s something that can be done without us having to push a new update!
    • Device stability – Thanks to all your reports, we’ve been able to identify and fix the issue with some users on non-English device settings being unable to complete an Adventure. We’re currently testing the fix and preparing a new build!
    • Multiplayer and Shared challenges – Don’t forget that your friends can play your shared challenge, no matter what content they own. We’ve also been able to kick off our first weekly adventure challenge with Paizo, and more of these are planned so be on the lookout for our shared games on socials https://twitter.com/Pathfinder_LM.

With all that in mind, we have our next update planned to go live next week addressing the language crash and filter bugs. We also took the time to update our in-game news behavior to use the native web browser instead of the clunky in-game one, much better!

Be on the lookout Monday and Tuesday next week for challenge winners,  new challenges, a patch and another round of coffee.
