What are Challenges: 
Players who complete all 20 questions in an adventure will have the opportunity to share a link to the game with friends via their favorite message service, emails or on social media. Anyone with the game installed who clicks that link will automatically be brought into the game to start the challenge. It’s as simple as that. The only requirement to share a challenge is that you MUST get to the end of 20 questions and you must click share to generate a link.

Sharing a challenge creates a leaderboard for that game. Challenges will remain open for several days, giving everyone an opportunity to compete and post a high score. Be warned though: you can only play a challenge once! The reason behind it – we wanted a true representation of your scores. If you had the chance to replay the challenge, it would be unfair to the original challenge host, and it would allow players to look up the answers on multiple playthroughs to try and beat a score.

• Shared challenges also show the players path, the difficulty of each question, missed answers and skipped ones too!

Greetings travelers,
It has been an amazing few weeks for us here as we push through the development and polish up the user experience. We’re happy to note that things are on track and we continue to move full speed ahead for our Fall release. We’ve been keeping up to date with the comments and questions that everyone has been posting and thank you for your continued feedback.

Now was a great time to kick off our series of Dev Updates covering the core of our game, the first of which will be focusing on the Adventure game mode.

What is Adventure Game Mode:
Adventure mode is our 20 question main attraction to Pathfinder: Lore Masters.Once players select the books and filters for the questions they would like to answer, they can kick off their adventure. Every correct or incorrect answer inches you closer to victory or defeat. On launch, players will be able to select from a free question pack or purchase questions in the form of large packs from Pathfinder 2e Core Rulebook (containing the rules and lore found in Pathfinder’s core rule book), The Lost Age of Omen’s World Guide (containing lore) the newest Rage of Elements book (containing lore).

How it Works:
Just start answering questions! You start off level 1, with a meager hit point pool. Every answer pushes you forward, granting you some experience and health, preparing you to take on the more difficult questions in case you fumble. While on your path to a successful adventure, you will be able to choose the difficulty of the next question. As you push to the higher difficulty questions, you may risk it all, and an incorrect answer could end your adventure early.Use one of the three boosters to help get past even the toughest of question and yes they’re stackable, but use them wisely you only get a few each match by levelling up, and you can’t simply buy more.

• 50/50 – Eliminate 2 answers, it’s as simple as that
• 2 Shots – Guess Twice, for those tougher ones
• Pass – Bit off more than you could chew? Maybe you can skip it, this time.

That doesn’t seem so hard:
You’re right it doesn’t, that’s why we’ve added a couple more unique elements of strategy.

Answering correctly heals you, and incorrect answers damage you. Health will be directly tied to the difficulty of the question and, your total HP bar is determined on your level. Attempting and failing a level 4 or 5 question too early in your adventure will consume all of your hit points and it’ll be game over.

Let’s not forget that questions are also timed and content has been curated by our in house content team to ensure that you have an awesome experience. You’ll quickly find yourself retreating to safer questions before no time and attempting a “Perfect Run” for the highest score possible will be no small feat.
